Industry — Startups
Look funded before you are.
Three people, a co-working desk and a dream — judged by investors and first customers like a 50-person company. Your website is where that gap gets closed.
Startups have a specific problem: you need to look like you have 50 employees and serious funding when you have three people and a runway. Investors, early customers and potential hires all check the website first — and all of them judge.
You also have specific constraints: tight budgets, aggressive timelines, requirements that change weekly. The last thing you need is a $15,000 agency retainer and a three-month process. A hand-coded build ships in weeks, costs once, and scales when you do.
The stack
What a startup site has to get right
MVP landing pages
Validate the idea, capture the leads, test the message — shipped in days, not quarters.
Investor-ready presentation
Clean, credible design that survives a partner meeting. VCs check your site before your deck finishes loading.
Product showcase
Features, screenshots, demo video and use cases that convert visitors into trial users.
Careers pages
In a tight talent market, your careers page is a recruiting tool. Treat it like one.
Content hub
A blog that builds domain authority while you build the product. Organic traffic is the channel you don’t pay for twice.
Analytics-ready
Structured for GA, Tag Manager, Hotjar and conversion tracking from day one — because you’ll be asked for the numbers.

The terms, in plain English
Nothing upfront. Ever.
Nothing upfront. You see the design first. On approval, a 50% deposit begins the build; the balance is due at launch — the site goes live when the final payment lands. Walk away before approval owing nothing.
Hosting is free for most sites on our edge network. Large builds — e-commerce, web apps, 12+ pages — move to managed hosting from $49/mo. Cancel anytime; you own everything either way.
Edits: 30/60/90 days of free fixes per tier — anything broken, off-brief or not performing as agreed is fixed free. New pages, new features, restyling and routine content updates bill at standard rates ($150/hr, or HEKAWEB Care at $99/mo: hosting, monitoring, priority queue, up to 2h/mo of content updates), cancel anytime.
Handover: Private Git repository, cloud archive, and a signed IP transfer deed. The code is legally, provably yours.

Yes. It’s hand-coded and yours — start with a landing page, add product pages, careers and a blog as you raise. Upgrade to Signature when the seed round lands; the codebase carries forward.
It means what it says: one client per industry, per council area. If I build the website for a startup in your space in your council area, I won’t build one for a competing startup in your space in the same LGA. Your slot is reserved for good.

When you’re ready
Tell me what you’re building. I’ll tell you what it should look like by launch.
You approve the finished design before you pay a cent. If you don’t love it, you don’t pay — and you owe nothing.
