Industry — Nonprofits

Nonprofit websites that turn visitors into donors.

A donor comparing two causes gives to the one whose website looks like it knows what it’s doing. It’s not fair, but it’s measurable — and your cause deserves better than a free template.

Your nonprofit slot: OPEN

Nonprofits have the hardest brief on the internet: inspire emotion, explain a complex mission, take donations securely, recruit volunteers and report on impact — usually on a budget that would make a startup blush.

Too many Australian charities settle for a free template because “we’re a charity.” That decision costs donations, volunteers and credibility. A one-time build fee, owned outright, is often the cheaper path over two or three years — and it looks like you know what you’re doing, because you do.

The mission

What a nonprofit site has to get right

Storytelling that moves

Your cause is a mission, not a product. Impact numbers, beneficiary stories and a narrative that makes giving feel urgent and safe.

Donations without friction

GiveNow, PayPal or Stripe, one tap on mobile. Every extra step between emotion and donation loses money.

Transparency pages

Donors want to know where the money goes. Financials, annual reports and impact dashboards build the trust that brings repeat giving.

Volunteer recruitment

Clear roles, simple forms, obvious calls to action. Volunteers are donors too — of time.

Accessibility as standard

Your audience includes people with disabilities and elderly donors. For a nonprofit, accessibility isn’t compliance — it’s the mission.

Event and campaign pages

Fundraising events and appeals get dedicated pages with registration, not a paragraph on the homepage.

The terms, in plain English

Nothing upfront. Ever.

Nothing upfront. You see the design first. On approval, a 50% deposit begins the build; the balance is due at launch — the site goes live when the final payment lands. Walk away before approval owing nothing.

Hosting is free for most sites on our edge network. Large builds — e-commerce, web apps, 12+ pages — move to managed hosting from $49/mo. Cancel anytime; you own everything either way.

Edits: 30/60/90 days of free fixes per tier — anything broken, off-brief or not performing as agreed is fixed free. New pages, new features, restyling and routine content updates bill at standard rates ($150/hr, or HEKAWEB Care at $99/mo: hosting, monitoring, priority queue, up to 2h/mo of content updates), cancel anytime.

Handover: Private Git repository, cloud archive, and a signed IP transfer deed. The code is legally, provably yours.

When you’re ready

You approve the finished design before you pay a cent. If you don’t love it, you don’t pay — and you owe nothing.
