Pricing
Three tiers, all one-time build fees, all prices AUD, ex GST. Launch is $2,400 for up to 5 pages. Signature is $4,800 for up to 12 pages, with a CMS, copy polish and custom animations included. Empire is $9,600 — a site plus a web app or PWA, priority build, with 12 months of managed hosting included. Add-ons: brand mark $750, blog setup with 3 posts $600, commerce engine (Stripe) $2,900, extra pages $350 per page. The cost calculator gives an instant itemised estimate.
Nothing upfront. You see the design first. On approval, a 50% deposit begins the build; the balance is due at launch — the site goes live when the final payment lands. Walk away before approval owing nothing.
Yes — on a pay-it-off plan. The total is the tier price plus one fixed 10% arrangement charge, shown upfront: no interest, no compounding. You pay 10% down and the rest interest-free over 12, 24 or 36 months. Launch is $264 down and $198 a month over 12 months; Signature is $528 down and $396 a month. The design-first guarantee still applies — you approve the finished design before the plan starts — and the site goes live and works from day one. Ownership of the code, files and IP transfers on final payment. Paying in full is always the cheaper path, but the door is open: see the pay-it-off plans.
You approve the finished design before you pay a cent. If you don’t love it, you don’t pay — and you owe nothing. No awkward exit interview either.
Hosting is free for most sites on our edge network. Large builds — e-commerce, web apps, 12+ pages — move to managed hosting from $49/mo. Cancel anytime; you own everything either way. That’s the whole recurring-cost picture.
Process
Most builds launch in 2–4 weeks from kickoff. Larger builds — e-commerce, web apps, heavy content — run 6–8 weeks. The timeline is fixed in the written quote before work starts.
Four steps, laid out in full on the about page. One: brief — a call or a few emails, then a fixed written quote. Two: design — you approve the finished design before paying anything. Three: build — hand-coded, with progress updates. Four: launch — deployment, search setup, ownership transfer, then your free edit window.
About an hour of your time at the start, plus whatever raw material you have — logo files, photos, price lists, service descriptions. Signature and Empire include copy polish, so rough notes are fine. You approve everything before launch.
One person. HEKAWEB is a solo studio — the person who quotes your job also designs it, codes it and answers the phone. Nothing is outsourced, nothing is handed off. Every enquiry is answered personally, same business day.
Ownership
Private Git repository, cloud archive, and a signed IP transfer deed. The code is legally, provably yours. Host it anywhere, hand it to any developer, sell it with the business — no licensing fees, no strings.
One client per industry, per council area — a council area is the local government area (LGA), not a radius or a postcode. If I’ve built for a physio in the City of Newcastle, I turn away every other physio in the City of Newcastle. First come, first served; once a slot is taken, it stays taken.
Yes. It’s a static site — plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript that runs on any host on earth. You receive the full source and the IP transfer deed at launch, so any competent developer can pick it up. There’s no proprietary system to escape from.
Every tier includes a free edit window — 30 days on Launch, 60 on Signature, 90 on Empire. Inside the window, content changes cost nothing. After that, edits are $150/hr — or HEKAWEB Care at $99/mo (hosting, edits, monitoring, priority queue), cancel anytime.
Technical
No. Every site is hand-coded HTML, CSS and JavaScript, written for your business from a blank file. No themes, no page builders, no plugin stack. That’s why the sites are fast — and why there’s nothing to hack or patch.
Every build targets Lighthouse 95+ and loads in under a second on a normal connection. That’s a measurement, not a promise — paste any HEKAWEB site into PageSpeed Insights and check.
Signature and Empire include a Git-based CMS — no database, no plugins, hosted free on our edge network. You log in, edit text and images, and publish. On Launch, edits go through me — free during the edit window, then at the hourly rate.
Every build ships with the technical SEO done properly: semantic HTML, structured data, fast load times, mobile-first layout, sitemap and search console setup. What happens after that depends on your market and your content. I don’t sell ongoing SEO campaigns — anyone who guarantees the top spot is guessing.
