Industry — Hospitality
Websites that put diners at your tables.
A hungry searcher at 7pm on a Friday wants three things: your menu, your location, a way to book. Make them work for any of those and they’re eating somewhere else.
Hospitality margins are brutal: food costs up, staff short, rent relentless. In that environment your website is not a nice-to-have — it’s the difference between a full house and empty tables.
Most venue sites fail on the basics: a PDF menu nobody can read on a phone, a booking widget that takes ten seconds to load, opening hours from last year. The fix is not complicated. It just has to be done properly.
The formula
What a venue site has to get right
Mobile-first, because everyone’s walking
Someone’s on the street, hungry, phone in hand. The site loads instantly, the menu reads without zooming, and the book button fits a thumb.
Menus that actually work
Real HTML menus — readable, updatable, and indexable. Yes, people search “best carbonara Sydney.” A PDF will never rank for it.
Booking that doesn’t slow the site
OpenTable, Resy, Dimmi or your platform of choice — integrated without the heavy iframes that drag load times into double digits.
Local SEO for “near me”
"Best café [suburb]", “romantic restaurant [city]". Proper schema and location structure, so you’re in the results when it matters.
Click-to-call and click-to-map
One tap to ring, one tap to navigate. The two things a walking customer actually does.

The terms, in plain English
Nothing upfront. Ever.
Nothing upfront. You see the design first. On approval, a 50% deposit begins the build; the balance is due at launch — the site goes live when the final payment lands. Walk away before approval owing nothing.
Hosting is free for most sites on our edge network. Large builds — e-commerce, web apps, 12+ pages — move to managed hosting from $49/mo. Cancel anytime; you own everything either way.
Edits: 30/60/90 days of free fixes per tier — anything broken, off-brief or not performing as agreed is fixed free. New pages, new features, restyling and routine content updates bill at standard rates ($150/hr, or HEKAWEB Care at $99/mo: hosting, monitoring, priority queue, up to 2h/mo of content updates), cancel anytime.
Handover: Private Git repository, cloud archive, and a signed IP transfer deed. The code is legally, provably yours.
FAQ
Hospitality website questions
Yes — the menu is a normal page you edit through the CMS. Change a dish, a price or a whole season’s menu in minutes, from your phone if you like.
Yes — OpenTable, Resy, Dimmi and most others. Bookings stay in the system your staff already know; the site just makes getting there fast.
It means what it says: one client per industry, per council area. If I build the website for a restaurant or café in your council area, I won’t build one for a competing restaurant or café in the same LGA. Your slot is reserved for good.
A typical venue build is a Signature build at $4,800 — editable menu, booking integration, events pages, live in about 3 weeks. A simple café site starts at Launch $2,400. Bigger builds — a site plus a web app — go to Empire $9,600. All prices AUD, ex GST. Nothing upfront. You see the design first. On approval, a 50% deposit begins the build; the balance is due at launch — the site goes live when the final payment lands. Walk away before approval owing nothing.
